Chris Bartelt - General Manager

Watertown/Aberdeen

Chris grew up in the business. After graduating from Watertown High School in 2000, he received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Prior to joining Midwest Ag, Chris spent 10 years in business management focusing on process improvement and supply chain management. Chris is a member of the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce Ag Committe and the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Board and presently serves as the Treasurer for that organization. In his spare time Chris enjoys spending time with his wife Cathy and their two children.

Store Manager - Aberdeen

Tom was raised on a dairy and beef cattle farm in Day County. He received a Business degree from Northern State University and has worked as an educator and coach in northeast South Dakota for 21 years. Tom is a member of the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce Ag Committee and also serves as a Chamber Ambassador. Tom is married, has two children in college, and enjoys visiting with customers and learning about the different facets of their operations.

Ryan Ollerich

Sales Associate - Watertown

Ryan lives south of Clear Lake, SD with his wife Jill and their son Devon. He attended SDSU and received a B.S. in Animal Science in 2004. Before joining Midwest Ag, Ryan worked extensively in the A.I. industry, starting in California then moving back to the area in 2006 and continuing with the A.I. business. Ryan continues to work with A.I. projects as an independent Genex representative. He also has a commercial cow herd of his own that he utilizes as an embryo recipient herd for a Hereford seedstock producer. In his free time, Ryan enjoys attending Devon’s numerous activities, team roping, and working with his cows.

Brandi Lambert Sales Associate - Aberdeen

Brandi grew up on her family farm north of Frankfort, SD where they raised grain and cattle. After she graduated from Redfield High School in 2008, she attended SDSU to receive a B.S. in Animal Science and Ag Marketing. Directly after college graduation she worked for Hefty Seed Co. in agronomy sales, and prior to joining Midwest Ag, she worked for North Central Farmers Elevator. She has always had a passion for livestock and is happy to be continuing that at MWA. Brandi is also a member of the Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce Ag Committee.

Cindy grew up on a family farm in South Dakota and is a graduate of the University of South Dakota. She thoroughly enjoys working with the ag community and appreciates their trust in Midwest Ag. Cindy realizes the importance of supporting South Dakota’s future farmers/ranchers and is a proud supporter of FFA in our schools and 4-H in our communities. Cindy stays active working as a volunteer in the community as well as acting on several area boards and committees. Cindy resides in Aberdeen, SD with her husband Dennis.

Rebecca lives in Huron with her husband, Scott, and four children. Rebecca completed her DVM degree at the University of California, Davis in 1995. After veterinary school she returned to South Dakota. She worked at Huron Veterinary Hospital for three years as a staff veterinarian and then four years as a full partner. In the summer of 2002 she started her own practice, James Valley Veterinary Clinic. Last fall Rebecca sold her practice. Rebecca is a great fit for the Midwest Ag team.
